Custom Back Seat Cover, Center Consoles

It's amazing what can be accomplished with a couple MDF boards and a yard or so of black leathery cloth...

I always keep my back seats folded down to have a little extra space and not have the headrests in the rear window, but I hated how "dirty" it looked and didn't like the added noise when I removed them completely (or notice the weight reduction So...here are some pics of a custom backseat cover I jigsawed out and covered up, then another piece that sits right up against it in the center with a pocket going into the space formed with the seats down. Hated having the big suction cup GPS mount in the front window, too. Interested in hearing other's thoughts...

That looks great...can you take some pics of the detail for the part right behind the front seats?
Maybe pics with the front seats "folded" foward...

Nice. But where will you put coins if the front cup holders are blocked by the Mio? I have the same one btw.

Close-ups...

Here are a few close-ups of the center console bit and pocket...

Ah, yes - the cup holder/change dilemma. For now, I just have the change holder in the glove box-a little inconvenient, but worth it to have the windshield clutter-free.

I really like that console and pocket, very ingenious.

So do you get lost all the time? heh heh. I only used the Mio once on a trip, it was actually a gift. It is not mounted in my car all the time.

I love it. Nice way to hide the seats.

I only have one comment and I don't want it to sound bad.
I think you could make the upholstery look better. You took all that time making the things. Put more time in the finished product. Take a extra day or two if need be. Looks like you are either new to the process or didn't make it look 100%. I mean no disrespect. I think custom work is awesome. Props for you doing it in the first place.
