uh oh ABS light

while riding around today my MSC (03) felt as if I had put on the brakes (while accelerating) then the ASC light came on and a little later the ABS light also came on. What's wrong with my MINI??

Sounds like you are breaking traction while accelerating and the stability system is compensating.

well, good guess; however the lights stayed on (run flat, ASC, and ABS).

Manual states failure of the control module or something. Drive cautiously to your nearest dealer.

I had those lights on and it was becuase my rear spring snapped and tore up the abs sensor. once that was replaced they all went out. I'm going to say you have a bad wheel speed sensor (abs sensor). You can check to see if one of them is being pulled or not, but other than that I have no idea what to tell you as far as identifing which one could be bad

Did you do anything dramatic when the came on? or were you just coasting down the road? Any recent modifications?
