anyone purchase certified recently?

Wondering before I try to negotiate what to expect for fees, etc. I assume I should not have to pay destination on a used vehicle but what about doc fees etc. I want to be prepared before settling down with a negotiation.
Thinking of a 2006 MC with 10 K miles....would like to know what others have done, heard, etc.
Thanks so much

Check out the full range of retail, private sale and trade-in values on www.kbb.com and www.edmunds.com, and try to stay at or under the private sale prices. The dealer will start at the retail prices.

I appreciate your reply...and actually I am very aware of the above. What I don't know is what a dealer typically will try to charge over and above the "price". As I understand it, destination should not be included and what about doc fees.....what do you typically expect for fees in addition to the (of course) requisite insurance.
I have only bought new in the past, never used from a dealer.

The dealer may charge $25 or so for doc fees if he collects the state sales tax and registration fees. There will be no destination fee unless they locate the car for you somewhere else and have it shipped in for you. If they charge a dealer prep fee, make certain the price plus prep fee falls into the blue book range. Also, buying from CarMax has all of the benefits of a dealer "certified" program.
