Brake Pads

Hi Folks,

Have a 2008 MCS with 17" R90. Love the car and wheels, but the brake dust is driving me crazy.

ANy thoughts on a brake pad that offers lest dust, and decent stopping power.

I've had this problem with BMW factory pads...and swapped them out with PBR pads with no discernible loss in braking. Wondering what the experiences are with seasoned Cooper owners?

Thanks,

Chuck

The Bobcats from AXC by Carbotech will give you less dust and better stopping power. http://www.autoxcooper.com/ctbrakes.html

I went with PBR/Axxis Deluxe Plus (organic pads) with no change in performance from factory pads and absolutely NO BRAKE DUST. I've used these brand pads for over 30 years on various cars. They last a long time, no squeal, good pedal feel, don't chew up your rotors and are very affordable, much less expensive than everything else mentioned on this forum. Just my opinion.

These are not race pads, just great street pads.
