Gettin some attention.
Gettin some attention.
I live in Australia and I went to a local car part shop today to just look at headlight globes. The guy working in the store comes out and helps me with my problem, he then informs me that there is a car show on tonight and I should come along. So at 7 o'clock I rock up and park in the parking lot, leave my car and go look at the highly modified ricers and the dB drag racing. About an hour later I return to my car to get something from it and it has two professional photographers from an australian car magazine surrounding it taking photos.
I am (to my knowledge) one of the only done up minis in my area, so I am a bit different from the norm (but it is hardly done up compared to some of the minis I have seen from across the pond). Has anyone else have a similar experience and discover their car in a secret car photo-shoot?

Your mini looks nice!
My car normally gets a bit of attention at shows, but nothing spectacular. I spend most of my time talking about gas mileage and how I don't have to fold myself to get in the car. If there are other minis at a show mine will just fade to the background. I'm working on fixing that now and you can check my gallery for the progress I've been making this week!
My goal is to go to a show this summer where I was outclassed last year by many other Minis that had alot of modifications done to them and win. It was peoples choice (not judged) and my flawless but plain jane mini was ignored.
