I've been through a few sets of headlights (halogen) on my 02 cooper, and just changed one last weekend..

It's about a 5 minute job, and the bulb is about $15 or so..

Since your car is still new(er), swing by the dealers and I think they will just do it for you..

 

What would cause them to go out so fast? I have hardly used them!

 

Not sure why it would go out so soon... then again, I have the xenon lights... If a dealer is not too far from you, I would make an apptmt. Not sure if that would be covered by the warranty though, I would ask when you call.
