My first weekend with the MINI

Was awsome! Everything (except the trunk room, but who needs that?) is amazing about it. Ive never taken turns so fast and felt so confident. Then the acceleration out of them . I love it, cant wait to get out more, also delivered my stock rims to a powder coater over in Hawthorne, expecting them back friday. Will have pictures of my car when they are back

Congratulations! We had a lovely 3rd weekend of ownership too.. Hill Country drive, moderately twisty roads, top down, state parks, mid 70s-80s, and ice cream (with an eight-year old (daughter not an eight year old MINI) that's vital.

Although our MINI will be a daily driver and Sunday excursion vehicle, I do find myself marveling at the handling, speed, and reponse.

As for trunk room , I hope we can learn to travel light. I'd like an extended road trip with our MINI soon.

I'm a second weekend owner although I'm not surprised by the speed, handling and size coming from my previous car, a Miata.

Congrats! Just recovering from my 1st weekend of ownership too. I would be raving about cornering, except that it is soooo hard to obey the break-in period.

There's plenty of trunk room, since the rear seats fold down so nice & flat! Yesterday I went to Target & Petsmart, and brought home all the pet food, kitty litter, and other bulky items that I would normally get, with room to spare. Now I can see a problem if you have more then 1 passenger!
