Need recall information

I was informed that at some time there was a recall on the early model Cooper and S for problems with the power steering fan and cooling fan and something about having the fusable link between the two seperated?

Well, my PS fan blew, causing the car to overheat, so if I can get some information so I can get this problem taken care of, hopefully at little cost to me that would be awesome. Anyone have any information about this?

better late than never

If nothing is listed, then I'd say there likely wasn't a recall for it. I've noticed that MINI tends not have many recalls at all compared to other makers. I'm guessing that's in part due to the fact that BMW is reluctant to do so unless forced and given the fact that the MINI is basically one BMW "model" in their lineup.

Check this thread on "Spontaneous Engine Bay Fires", it's in there somewhere.
