R50/53 Will engine damper that fits the R53 fit an R50?

From: Car Nut Since 1987, Owner Since Fall 2005, Vendor Since Fall 2007
what years are they both made? The cut off is 2002 to Nov 2003 for one set of hardware, and then Dec 2003 to end of production for the other. Hope that helps.
