It was really scary when i was exiting the grand central pkway. and in the middle of the turn there is not power assist. the next day I called PRESTIGE MINI and explained what happen. they told me to bring the car. they checked the car and found out it was the electrical plug connected to the pump was loose. they fixed for me at not charged. thanks again PRESTIGE MINI. and thanks to Christ and John (service managers) at PRESTIGE MINI.

 

Wondering how that could be? That plug is tie wrapped in place from the factory. Whay year is the car?

2003 s. Hmmm, ... I'm thinking that they just told ya that to keep you happy.
The 2003 pump harness had a habit of catchong fire. But one thing, I would bet that a loose plug was no way the culprit.
But anyway, it's fixed and they took care of you.

By the way, I have a 2003 S and this same thing happened to me.

 

they fix it in less than 1/2 hour. what was your problem?
