R55 Roof Rack - how easy to put on & take off?

I saw the roof rack installed on a Cooper Clubman at a dealer event yesterday. Seems that it attaches to the roof ridges by pressure and on the left side of the rack there is a keylock, I assume, to prevent theft.
I am interested in the roof rack as I see us using it in the future for the roof cargo box.
