airbag light

went to the mini dealer and they said it was due to a malfunction in the seatbelt tensioner. i read somewhere that this was covered under the fractory warranty. they on the otherhand say that it is only the harness. they reset the code and it is not on again but should this happen again does anyone know where i can find any info on this recall from mini usa? thanks

The warranty extension notice I got

didn't say anything about what caused the light, just that if it was on they fix it. Course I didn't save it....

You can try the NTHSA site, or PM some of the folks who work at Mini dealers here to see if they'll dig it up.

Yeah, mine has been fixed 3 times by the dealer....(It's on again of course). I haven't taken it back yet, I've lived this long without ghey airbags so if they don't deploy....so be it..
