removing exterior trim, help asap please

i think i know how to, the top trim just pulls off right? any special tools or tips so i dont break it? will i need new clips to re-install?

i need to know how to completely remove the trim outlines in the pic, (top, beltline, and that piece in between the door glass, and the rear glass)

reason for removing:

im getting the back side windows, and the back hatch window vinyled in gloss black

Im not sure about the lower beltline trim and the vertical piece between the windows, however the piece at the very top, the drip edge, has a few screws underneath the weatherstripping. You have to open your door and pull off your weatherstripping, that will expose a row of screws, philips head I believe, and then I think you may have to pop off your a-pillar covers to remove one more screw right where it curves.

Be careful removing that piece, if it breaks, you have to buy a new one front to back, they do not sell it in pieces. It may look like at the very front of the windshield that the little corner pieces come off, but they don't. They will break, and you will have to buy an entirely new piece front to back.

I will take a look in my bentley manual to see how the beltline trim comes off, as well as the vertical window piece.

I couldn't find anything in the Manual, however it is looking like the vertical trim piece pulls off (looking at realoem.com, they don't specify any screws or clips in that area)

the beltline trim, I can't find anything to surely say whether or not there are screws or clips, so hopefully somebody here will be able to chime in.

The A-Pillar trims pull off, but don't re-use the clips that push in, as they don't clip in very well, meaning when you go over 80-90MPH they wind gets underneath and rips them off, that in turn blows the leading edge of the window out.

Don't ask me how i know that....

you talking about the interior A pillars, or the exterior ones that you have to remove if you were to get the windshield replaced?
