Hey guys,

Where can I get the backup light lens, housing and harness for an '02 mini ? The backup light had suffered a minor impact (poor reversing), lens broke and the light stopped working. Thinking the lamp itself was busted I replaced it - no good. But the backup light does work intermittently. Possible loose contact in the harness/housing. Hence I'd like to know where I can get them. Thanks !

realoem.com should help you locate the part number. then take the part number over to pelicanparts.com paste it in and voila!

 

I think you will find that the wires are already there for the back up light, all you will need is the back up light. I believe all Minis come with the wiring for rear fog lights, all that is needed is a new switch module and BCM programing for rear fog lights.

 

What exactly did you replace -- only the bulb?

It looks like I need the female socket that the backup lamp kit plugs into - the one which is part of the wiring ON the car. Any idea where I can get this beast ?
