Hawaii- sunday Autocross Funruns in the afternoon

After the runoffs in the morning for the season ending championships-

There will be funruns at Aloha stadium lower parking lot on sunday about 12 to 4pm. $10 for 10 runs with non official times, instructors available.

Good short practice day for those that want to get a hint of driving autocross or if they want to try out a different car. No SUV or minivans allowed.

Shoes and helmet required, minimal age of passenger is 12.

See the SCCAhawaii.org site for more information

There is plenty of room it's not filled up yet.

Just a heads-up but they seemed to have raised the minimal passenger age to 14 now. Don't know why......maybe rule from hq?

Yeah, this Sunday's modified funruns might be a better deal than test-n-tune. $10 for ten funruns.

Oh, don't forget (as you stated in your post on the listed link), to pre-register (the only way to funrun this year) you must be a SCCA member (no weekend memberships for this).

We just formally reviewed the age limit and according to the SCCA rule book the minimal age is 12 so for this coming year I think we will change from 14 to 12. One can already argue that it should be 12 and it would be a local regional ruling to allow it or not.

I think it will be 12.
