Hi all, we recently puchased an 02 MC British Racing Blue w/ 67K miles and we love it. We're definitely Mini fans from now on. Weird thing I noticed this AM on the way to work. When I cycled thru the steering column instrument functions, my outside temp kept flashing? Is this indicitive of anything? Maybe Stella (like Stella Artois) was just that cold this AM.

Also, much thanks to RANDYBMC for the excellent oil change procedure. Did it for the 1st time and it was a breeze.

 

Was it 37* or colder in Holly Springs this morning on your way to work? It was close to that here in Raleigh. If so, that was just the black ice warning. You'll hear a chime and the outside temp will flash if the temp is 37* or less to warn you that ice is possible on the roads.

 

Ah, I see. Although I never heard any chimes, it just read 34* and flashed. Thanks for the advice. Good thing our local media did a job of freaking everyone out about the "inclement weather"
