I've had an issue thats driving me nuts ... 05MCS
one day cruise works great the next day trying to turn it on the light flashes and turns off...
Anyone else have this trouble ??? possible fixes ???

 

Very likely a software issue. Head to the dealer...

 

The same thing happened to me recently. Take it in there is a brake light sensor that probably has blown, so the system does not recognize when you apply the brake. They switched mine out and have not had a problem since.

 

On my '03, first they changed out the brake lite switch (check to see if it's just out of adjustment first) and that worked for a while, but when it acted up next a month later they wound up changing the steering angle sensor. Haven't had a problem since......check your brake lite switch first tho, it's easy and cheaper to replace.
