I am thinking about getting the aero kit for our MINI. I would llike to get everyones recommendation for a high quality body shop which you have used before. Also I would like to hear baout your experience on getting the trim pieces painted, does the paint last? What are the costs?

I just had my Mini worked on, new paint on bumpers, hood(bonnet), roof, new windshield, new plastic trim, clear bra, ect.. Huricane force wind blew across the highway while I was driving, blasted my Mini with stones and pebbles, it was a mess. My point is, had Cars Collision Center do the repaires and like their work. Paint match is great considering my car is an '03. Here is a link, they have a few stores up in your area.

As far as painting arches and skirts, ask anyone if there are issues with sand blasting effect on them, from the tires kicking it up. You know how CDOT likes to sand!

By the way, getting closer to that Western Dragon trip!!

 

Thanks Brian. They are right by my work actually. My clear bra was put on there as well. Sorry to hear about the gravel pleting of your MINI. Let me know when you are ready for the western dragon. I am tired of just commuting in the MINI.
