I am a regular reader of NAM but I actually find the format somewhat clunky. I was a member of "saabnet" (another addicting auto website as well as car) and liked the format where you could see all the titles of the posts for a given thread. Would other folks be interested in that format?

You can have a view somewhat such as that. In the upper right of the title bar of this thread click on Display Mode and select Threaded.

To make all teh threads like that go the User CP found under Main Menu on the left side under the header bar.

Select Edit Options

Scroll to the Thread Display section and in the Thread Display Mode area click on the dropdown to choose Threaded.

Hybrid Mode is the best of both worlds.
