Minis of the Rockies

Does anyone know someone I could contact at Minis of the Rockies? Their website (www.minisrock.com) has been down for awhile now and I've been trying to find out if they have anyone they would recommend who could do some (hopefully) light body work and a repaint of my '77 Mini 1275GT.

Thanks!

They probably won't know. I'd post this in the Classic Mini forum or check out mini2 or mini mania websites. You could also go to MINIUSA.com and get the info from the FIND A DEALER widget.

Sure do. That is easy.

MOTR Minis of the Rockies is found at www.MinisRock.com I have just tried the site, and you are right, it is down. I was with the webmaster on Sunday and he made no mention of it.

I will send you a PM with the webmaster's email. I will also ask that he contact you here in NAM. His name is Darren Haines and he will help you.

I also suggest you come to our next Monthly meeting, and timing is everything. We have our GTG on the 1st Tuesday of each month at Pint's Pub near downtown Denver, 221 W 13th St. right by the Denver Mint. Check it out at www.pintspub.com. We meet upstairs in the back at 7 pm. Someone there will help you find the person you need, if not help you do it yourself. Tuesday, Feb 5th is the next meeting.

Thanks, hope that helps. Gotta love online forums.

Jonathan

I am the webslave of www.minisrock.com. The site has become very unstable since I had to reload it from an older version to fix some running issues....currently waiting for a software patch to tear it down and rebuild it....anyway, Jonathan has already posted the important information concering the upcoming meeting in Feb....Come and im sure that we could recommend shops to do work on your mini.

If you want more info please email me at my profile address

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually did talk to the local MINI shop where I take my MCS and of the two places they suggested one told me they don't work on older cars and the other hasn't replied to my inquiries. So, I figured I would get in touch with a local classic club who I'm sure has at least one member whose had the sort of work done that I'm looking to do.

Always good to get the info straight from the source.

That would be great. I'm for sure hoping to make it.
