TSW Updates - rotors + v2 damper kits
Our rotors arrived yesterday and are BACK IN STOCK and READY TO SHIP! I know there were a lot of y'all waiting on these. Well, we were waiting, too - to the tune of about 3 months to get our order!!! Why 3 months? Well, two major manufacturers of rotors opened new plants in China and shut down their other operations - several US distributors and OEM's (including some manufacturers like GM) told those companies that they would no longer be doing business with them. This swamped our rotor supplier, as well as a couple others worldwide... But, they're here. And, now we know that our supplier has a VERY different lead time than they had before.
v2 of our damper kits are now shipping. Gone are the color choices - the new dampers are wrapped in carbon fiber. Gone are the heim joints - the new dampers feature ends that are rubber-impregnated bushings. The internals are completely redesigned, too. We worked on the new design with our supplier, and have been testing the prototypes for well over 6 months... Same performance, less NVH. Late model front brackets were also bumped up one gauge thickness...
Adjustable camber plates are WELL under way - we're waiting on the next prototypes to be finish machined, and then we'll be rinsing them out on the track (and street). We're still on target for a release around March. These are unlike ANY other plate out there... We've got a nice surprise in store on these as well... It's been a long time coming, but we're really excited to see these bad boys being finished up!
