well i recently swaped out my cloth seats for leather seats... i was wondering does the air bag (front) still work if the light is on? im assuming the side ones wouldnt cause of the seats... any info wold help thanks!

 

The entire airbag system isn't working when the light is on. You should of disconnected the battery prior to taking your seats out. The dealer charger 45 mins of labor just by using a simple tool to turn the light off. I think you can get away with it tho if you just take the car in and tell them your light went on and you have no idea why. They will resset it and blaim a wiring loom under your seat.

 

that happened to me but it really was from wiring goin bad from under the seat. if you go to the dealer with will take car of it for you
