Production figures for non-MINI vs. MINI

Does anyone have a link that shows the total number produced (or better yet U.S. domestic number purchased) per year for common vehicles such as Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords? These cars are, of course, a lot more common on the road than MINIs. I'm just curious how their production figures compare.

Dunno, but I'd love to know if there was such a resource. I have a hell of a time getting final production numbers from the mothership - which I need to base my in-use testing program on.

The entire industry reports unit sales figures monthly, which WARD'S records and keeps online for industry subscribers -- http://wardsauto.com. If you're not a subscriber, you can always track individual company web sites, or industry summary news reports from Reuters or other news wires, or use Google. (I'm lucky, I'm a subscriber through work.)

For example, searching within press releases at BMW web sites, I found this release at both the BMW Group North America and the BMW Group HQ sites:
http://www.bmwgroupna.com/pressdetail.aspx?rel=391

It describes global sales of all brands for the year. I could not find the Group North America press release on 2007 U.S. sales within BMW's web sites -- I had access to it via WARD'S -- but I did find it with a little bit of Google Fu here:

Cool. I'll take a look. I was hoping for a breakdown by manufacturer/model/year, but I guess I'm just being lazy.

Thanks for the info.
