MINI "reunite" delivery program?

I was speaking with someone at MINIusa who mentioned that Mini has a service called "reunite" where they deliver your car back to you (from the dealership) after service. The rep said you need a good reason and the dealership manager needs to sign off.

My question is, has anyone here ever utilized this program?

no i always end up with a justacooper, AT, non sports suspension that makes me question the validity of the car, piece of crap. i really just can not have fun in the auto trans car once i have that heavy bias of the MCS.

All dealerships have porters that they can send out at their discretion. I've had porters come and get my MINI (leave me a loaner) and bring it back a couple times. They're being nice to me because I drove all they way out there (hour+) once and they totally wasted my time, plus I still don't have what I ordered with the car 6 months ago. I worry a little about someone else driving him, but the guys were mature and nice - and Lewis came back just fine.

I always get a ride home after dropping off my MINI for service at the MINI dealer, usually in a 335i by a dealership employee..........I have extra cars so there's no need for them to loan me a car.

I've heard of this program. Unfortunately I think you have to either live a million miles from the nearest dealer - not the dealer of your obsession, or they have your car for an extended amount of time - no time frame given, to perform repairs.

Unfort. This is not the dealer where the car was purchased and is 74 miles away.

I'm hoping that there is some way they can deliver the car back to me.

MINI "reunite" delivery program?

Yes. I used the reunite program. I live over 100 miles from the nearest Mini dealer. When my Mini would not start I called roadside assistance and a tow truck was dispatched to try to start the car. When that did not work a second tow company with a car hauler was sent and the Mini was taken to the nearest dealership. After the repair work was done (new battery) another tow company delivered the car back to my house. The car is still under warranty and there was no charge.
I hope this answers your question.
