I just bought a used 06 mcs with 20k miles on it, i have the following upgrades and i'm thinking new pipe next? What will get me the most performance for my buck?
  • Webb Motor Sports 15% pulley
  • Alta intake with red silicon hose
  • One-ball exhaust
  • H-sport springs
  • H-sport control arms
  • 17" Rota Subzeros
  • M7 Strut Tower Bar
  • GIAC ECU tune (for 15% pulley, intake)
  • Helix Engine Torque Dampener

15% pulley will get the best numbers for ya. the strut tower brace will get the most stability for ya. after that i'd follow this way

alta intake- whatever color hose you like i like black.
one ball exhaust
giac tune
h sport springs
h sport control
rims and tires
torque dampener

i like to feel the raw power for a little while and then feel it all pulled together with a tight suspension. I haven't done any mods yet but i've been doing a ton of research. i like the alta V2 15% pulley based on a lot of reviews i read.
happy motoring!

IMHO:

1. Brake upgrades - better pads for sure. SS lines and brass bushings for a better feel (both optional).

2. Front camber plates and a good alignment with slightly more negative camber than the stock alignment specs.

3. A quality engine tune (RMW)

Just so everyone knows, the list of upgrades Disco mentioned are upgrades he already has, so no need to suggest them

I would go with the brakes if I was you, as long as your suspension is where you want it. Not much beats a nice set of strong brakes to give you confidence, both on the road and the track!

Good luck, and nice set-up!

Sway bar is always performance bang for your buck for your suspension.

Yep... I missed that. The rear swaybar is a relatively inexpensive mod for the change in handling. Any 19mm adjustable rear swaybar should be OK unless you are a hard-core Auto-X junkie. I like having Zerk fittings on the bushing brackets to make re-greasing an easy thing to do.

Im going to recommend camber plates and 4 adjustable rear control arms - a quality alignment will do wonders for your handling.

Later, if not sooner, get poly front control arm bushings.

I just did the Alta 22mm rear sway bar mod (first mod) and love the way the car feels now. Would highly recommend this.
