If I am remembering correctly, there is a "reset" procedure in the manual in case the window gets confused and doesn't go up all the way. Maybe that is the problem?

He Pimp. Is the window going up and down when you open the door? (it should) If not, as rwkeating suggests, you may need to reset that function. If that doesn't fix it, then the window motor is probably going.

no it goes up and down fine, its not an issue of it not going up all the way, its the window is sorta pushed out like maybe 1/4" at most, more like 1/8" though.

Well thats not going to be good for your SPL rating now is it? While you're welding in your sunroof you could always build a window channel for the doors. Thats going to be the achilles heel of your system anyhow.

There's a procedure in the Bentley manual for reseting the window to seal gap, requiring some serious looking tweaking procedures. Never tried it, but I'm sure someone here can pitch in with some info.

Look for 2 screws at the very bottom of the metal door.
