Dealer service recommendation?

Hi everybody,
My wife and I just picked up an '05 CS, and I am wondering how the service is at Momentum and Woodlands. Does one get recommended over the other? I have heard negative feedback regarding Momentum BMW/Porsche service, and wonder if that carries over to the MINI side.

My specific issues is the part of the headlight that surrounds the bulb (xenon) has come unglued, and is loose in the headlight housing. I'm pretty sure this is something that would be covered under warranty, so........I'm looking for a good service dpt.
Thanks

Congratulations on your new MINI! Hope you can come to one of our meetings soon! January 5th? See separate thread.

I have been quite happy with service at Mini of the Woodlands, routine or warranty. That's where I bought mine. I have never tried Momentum. Other HMMS members are equally happy with Momentum. Some members have issues with one, or both. I guess thats not much help! Pick your poison! Hopefully, someone who's been to both will post or PM you. For non warranty stuff, we all generally seem to use Bavarian Hyper Sports.

If it's warranty service, I'd go to whichever dealership is more convenient for you. If the warrantied repair isn't to your satisfaction, you can always go to the other to get it resolved. It's been done before, in both directions.

All things considered, I haven't experienced (or heard of) many issues with either dealership. You're more likely to run into a BMW/MINI corporate warranty issue (like modding your MINI to void the warranty on a specific part of the car - like the supercharger). But even then, most of us modders haven't had much issues for as much as we like to modify our MINIs.

I get my work done at MINI of the Woodlands because it's a few minutes from where I work. Ask for Heather. She's great!

I've had fantastic service from the folks there.
