New Year Suspension Plans

I have decided to upgrade my suspension further early in the New Year. I currently have KW Variant 1 Coilovers which are now really damaged as my 18" JCW alloys were scraping on the inside of the wheel on the coilover rings before i added the 5mm spacers. and there will be no way of any height adjustability now as it wore away the coilover locking ring. I believe this is a common problem with KW and OEM wheels (to do with the offset).

My plan is 1) Eibach Pro Street S Coilovers or Bilstein PSS (not PSS9's)
2) Eibach Front Top Mounts
3) Eibach Rear Control Arms

Most of the items you guys fit in the US are not available in Scotland ie Ireland Engineering/ M7 etc

I am going to really try and bring it down low again on the 18" alloys. and sort the camber to more of a neutral set up to cut down on un even tyre wear which i experinced the last time i dropped it on the KW's

I am also considering replacing the bushings but not sure if worth it as car is a 2005 Cooper with approx 35,000km on the clock. What do you think

What are your thoughts on the choice of Coilovers?? I have always sworn by Eibach

If you plan on dropping the car down more than an inch and a half or 2 inches I wouldn't recommend the PSS9s. You give up suspension travel and the ride isn't very comfortable for the street. With the Cross system you can adjust ride height without sacrificing suspension travel. I sold my PSS9's and moved to the Cross setup. They have integrated camber plates as well. Jan at RMW carries then and so does Danny at MiniCorsa. I am pretty sure Jan ships abroad.
