R50/53 What have you managed to cram in the back of your MINI?
my life...

Moving from FL back to IL.
I also happened to take with me everything I needed for 3 months on a road trip, in which I also delievered a few large boxes, unfortunately I packed it well enough I didn't think it was worthy of snapping any shots

Cabrios have an undeserved reputation for having less storage space:

I transpoted a V4 engine and transmission for my 1973 SAAB model 96 from Newburgh to Albany NY - removed the rear seat to keep things clean.

Myself driving
A friend and his girlfriend riding shotgun
3 in the back W/ the 7th laying across them!!

We Left the Brooklyn Botanical gardens, in route through Manhattan via the Brooklyn bridge and proceeded to pull into a spot made for the mini.
All us Clowns began to unravel ourselves out of the car as observers watched in shock!

Man I wish I had pictures although I can still picture it like it was yesterday since we were all laughing the whole way...

I had a buddy with a mini that stuffed his pitbike in the back. I didn't get pics of it but here's a pitbike like the one he had. He had to mash the forks down and fold the bars. Then, tie it down without letting up on it to avoid hitting the roof.
30 gallon craftsman air compressor and an 8 foot flourecent light fixture with two bulbs!! Was just a bit shy of closing the boot. Had to use a very small piece of rope to hold the boot shut.
Getting ready to leave on a 1500 mile trip.

I also carry all kinds of tools and gardening stuff, brought home a yard of mulch in bags this summer in just 3 trips

She expects a carfull of gifts every year. That's why I bought a MINI!
2 mtn bikes +...
Not the best photo (my forethought was lacking @ the time/pesky cellphone!) but... what we have here are two mountain bikes, 1 case of bottled water, MINI car cover (on the left). what you don't see, two overnight bags and still plenty room for two full-grown men.
Can't forget the emergency roadside bwanky!
On a separate adventure i managed to get the 27" old-school/CRT TV back there! Alas, no photos!
(ed. note: when my friend and I were training heavily, i got really good at putting the mtn bikes in the MINI in about 5 minutes!)

WOW I did 8 bags the other day and thought it was a lot! But I also had my 9-year-old with me. She counts for a couple bags.
Have also hauled lumber, bamboo fencing, unassembled cabinets, etc.
In the convert, a 10-speed bike, and larger pieces of furniture, Xmas trees.
An 12 ft Artificial Christmas Tree in a box. The salesperson told me it wouldn't fit, so then I had to do it, instead of going home to get the SUV. It went all the way from the boot to the front windshield. I had to reach under the box to shift.
