Chrome bezels

Is the optional interior chrome actual metal or is it plastic that looks like chrome?

I'm planning to go with the brushed alloy and I thought this would be a nice compliment but I don't want it to look/feel cheap in compairison as the brushed alloy is actual metal.

It will be chrome covered plastic (like all the other pieces of chrome on the car).

It doesn't look like it is plastic.

If they are just plastic, they don't look it. I got the chrome line interior because I thought the stock silver plastic bezels looked wicked cheap. Just my $.02.

chromeline is fine

See my gallery...that's brushed alloy with the chromeline. I thought this over a lot b4 I ordered. To me, the chromeline gets away from the plastic look (even though the parts aren't metal) as compared to the grey rings. The chromeline looks just fine next to the brushed alloy...not plastic looking. To my eyes, there's something about the chromeline feature that gets away from the plastic look of the grey rings. My opinion only, but I've been living with it for over half a year and like the combo a lot.

All the "chrome line " features are the same ,inside or out, on the R56. It is a hard thick chromium layer bonded to a hard plastic base. Very durable , you will not get any pitting on this finish. Treat it well and it will last as long as the car.

Thanks guys that is exactly what I needed to know.

I'll probably go with the chrome, I was just worried that the quality wasn't very good. Almost nothing worse than flaking chrome/paint/plastic.
