I just had to replace the rear 2 OEM tires which are Dunlop 9000 DSST's. They only had 15k on them with a lot of tread life left on the tire, however, both the inside edges of the tires were way worn down. Whats the warranty on the OEM tires? Are they covered under the MINI warranty or Service? Anybody know or have this issue?

 

I'm guessing that you'll have to go through Dunlop's warranty. (I assume you didn't pay for the wheel/tire coverage through the dealer) Once upon a time you'd get a folder of some sort with a new car specifically about the tire manufacturers warranty, but I don't believe I got one with my '07. The dealer should be able to point you in the right direction. I wonder why the inside edge wore so bad? I have those on mine...I better look!
