m7 oil cc

i know this has been discussed here before but; has anyone had an issue with the routing of the lines as per m7's instrutions / thx .

Yes. Although I never experienced the collapsing tube problem some have had with Alta tubing, I picked up a lot of water vapor and little oil when routed the way M7 says in the instructions. There was still oil in the IC, too. When routed the preferred way (as per my sketch, see elsewhere or my website) I got oil in the can, and an absolutely clean IC (surprisingly oil-free.)

I did their set-up originally and had smililar results like Phil. I also had the collapse problem but I had used non-M7 tubing.

I ended up going to the single side (left) and its working effectively. I also added a metal filter (screen) to the inside of the M7 can and that helps alot.

i dont have in mounted the way that m7 suggests, nevetr had an issue with that

thx for the replies all . i went single side and put it where my c.a.i. used to be . lots of room .
