Who is their right mind would ever vandalize a mini????? Well somebody did, and they did it by throwing a rock right through my drivers side window All that damage so they could take a few dollars in change that was my ice cream money. I can save amost $200 if I install the window myself, but I wondering if anyone has ever installed a window on a mini and if you have any advice????

 

it's really quite easy... but you may need some tools... if you take the door panel off you can just reach in there and loosed the "sprocket" like window holder thingy...

there are two of them... once you get them un screwed... you can take out the left over stuff from the broken one... and all you have to do is slide the new window down in.. there is a little shelfy thing for it to sit on... and screw the sprocket things back on... you still have to align the window a little.. (forward and back) but all in all it's pretty easy... I have watched Tüls do it a bunch of times...

sometimes you need to use some pliers or a screw driver and hammer to get those sprockets loose
