Track / autox setup which can be use on the street?

I attended a Motortober event and was able to drive the 2007 MCS's all day long at the track. It was absolutely amazing. I put my car on the track for a while as well but did not want to wear too much on my current street tires.

So... What is a decent tire to use on the track and at auto-x events that can be also used on the street (to drive to the events). I am a beginner @ performance driving and probably do not need the best / stickiest tire in the world. Cost is of concern as long as the fun and safety factor can be maintained at the same time.

One thing I noticed with my current tires that I do not want in my track tire is the roll. I am currently running 215/45/17 and my car had more roll than the runflat counterpart cars on the track. I would like to stick to 205/45 17 or even better 205/40/17. I plan on finding some cheep OEM 17 inch wheels to put the extra tires on.

Thanks,
k

Oh, what about 16"? Will a 16" tire/wheel exhibit the unwanted mush/roll I have with my 215/45's?

The top two would probably be:

Falken Azenis
Hankook RS2 z212

To get rid of roll-over in the front, you pretty much need front camber plates.
