Heater Vent block & skirt for winter driving

I love to drive top down in the winter. I have a windscreen and electric seats and turn the heat to high, with the windows up.

I frequently drive without a passenger.

Has anyone blocked the lower heater vent on the passenger side to force most of the heat to the driver's side? I usually have only the lower vents opened. What was your experience? Any problems?

Has anyone made or purchased a skirt to put over the drivers legs to maximize the heat around the feet? How did you attach it to the car, if at all?

Thanks in advance.

Doug
