your best bet would be to post this in the regional forum for that area. I'm sure there are plenty of knowledgeable people over there.

oh, and welcome to NAM!

I have no idea about that area...but I too have an '06 Cooper. What are your plans for it? I'm new to the whole 'moding' thing and am hoping to get some ideas

So far, I have found a promising replacement for the air intake, the WAY/DDR. (search that and you should find the thread). I'm also hoping to change the exhaust someday.

Anyway, thought I'd say Hi! and welcome...hopfully someone will have some better info for your question though!

I used to live in Brooklyn and while there noticed a european car garage around the corner from me.
They don't specifically work on mini's but once you see their shop you will be comfortable having them work on your car.

Have a look at their gallery: http://www.sportsclassicsnyc.com/simpleviewer/

While there I had them install the following.

K&N Cold Air Intake
Willwood Big Brake Kit Front and rear Drilled/Slotted rotors
Borla Catback exhaust
Racing Dynamics 20mm rear swaybar
Cravin Dual Gauge pod, with Air/Fuel, Boost, Volt gauges.

They did a great job!
Craven was even impressed, there was an issue with the Gauge pod's bolt threading and they waited to install until craven sent the correct bolts.

If you r interested and near there stop by or give a call and ask for Andrew.
He and his father Sakis are Rally racers and have a tricked out audi 100 as well as a WRX. They are good people.
