Will these fit a 2007 R56S?

I've heard that Mini changed the wheels and brakes somewhat in mid 06 and that the new wheels will fit the older cars but not vice versa. I'm checking it out right now to see if I got that right.

Will these fit a 2007 R56S?

The lug bolt diameter change doesn't affect interchangeability of the stock MINI wheels in any way - they all have bolt holes that will work with either size lug bolt.

But, those wheels probably won't work on an R56 'S' - I don't think any of the 15" factory MINI wheels will clear the larger brakes found on the R56 'S'. Some of the 16" wheels will, and I think all of the 17" and 18" MINI wheels will, but not the 15".

Thanks for double checking on these burley. I don't think they'll meet my needs but you shouldn't have any problems getting them in good hands with the local club.

No problem, I had another R56 owner as about them yesterday too. Ahhh... I need some R50's....

So which of these WILL it fit? I would think the R56 Cooper has normal sized brakes, right?

R50: "Mk I" MINI One and Cooper
R52: "Mk I" MINI Convertible
R53: "Mk I" MINI Cooper S
R54: "Mk I" MINI Convertible
R56: "Mk II" MINI One, Cooper, S and D
R57: "Mk II" MINI Convertible

Yes, as long as you keep your stock front brake calipers.
