can someone with experience confirm 15inch rims will not fit on the new 07 Mini cooper S? Maybe someone should add this to the stick for new in 07...

 

Looking at this myself. Will the 15'' OEM 5 spoke star wheels fit the R56 MCS?

Looking at a set for winter tires.

 

99% of 15's won't fit. I'm sure there's a couple out there that might, but only one or two OEM 16" fit, so I wouldn't be hopeful.

 

too many people putting 17 and 18s on ther 07 MCS here, no one's gone smaller than 16. I actually want 15s, i even think the stock 16s are a bit too big for the mini.

 

all you need to do is take off your front brakes and replace with smaller ones and you can run 15's. TCE sells a kit that will fit 15" wheels.

 

I test fitted both the 15x7 Kosei K1 Racing and the 15x8 949 Racing 6UL's on a 07 MCS. Both wheels cleared the front brakes (watch your stick on wheel weights though, especially with the Kosei's), and on the rear you might have to run a little spacer to clear the aluminum trailing arm, it has a little less room than the R53 steel trailing arms.
