Hi,

i am looking for new rims for my R56. i am looking at a set of 17x8 Works wheels and 42 is the only offset available for the mini.

I am also looking to drop the car a little, will i have any issue?

what size of tires is recommended for this setup?

 

i believe the hamann hm4 wheels specs are in the same ball park, same 17x8 and 4x offsets. with 215/40 tires they don't seem to be an issue on my buddy's r56. and he's on coils slamming it too.

what work wheels you going with?

my buddy said they are also doing a deal on a different forum.

my only concern is that they are cast alloy, risk of damage for such light rims.

 

I have Compomotive 17x8 ET40 and run 215/45/17. Perfect.
