Hi all. Easy questions for ya.

1. How do i remove the seats without getting the airbag code?
2. If i disconnect the batttery, will that trigger some sort of code?

1. unplug the battery, disconnect harnesses, unbolt
2. maybe...50/50 shot

I unbolted the seat and used a big unused roll of paper towels to hold the seat up to do what I needed to do.

So long as you disconnect and reconnect the airbag harness while the battery is off line, you will be fine. I did this and swapped in a 4ohm resistor with no problems at all. If you bring the power up with the airbag disconnected, you will throw a code and trigger the warning light, but this can be reset by any decent mechanic once everything is hooked up properly.

You will not have any problem with code/alarm if you disconnect the battery first.

You might want to disconnect both positive & negative terminals, then touch both positive & Negative cables together, to bleed off any residual voltage in the system...OR disconnect the battery, and wait 30 minutes before removing the seat.
