Any good B & B's in the area?
I enjoy just getting away once in a while to visit local things without traveling too far.

 

My wife and I stayed at the Bishop's House pre-kids. However, that's been 20 years! Yikes, how did I get so old?

The Mason House Inn is kind of a neat old building on the Des Moines River way down in Bentonsport. My younger sister's wedding was held in the rose gardens there and the rest of the family stayed overnight:
