Where did you hit 1250?
This is where I hit that magic break-in milestone of 1250 miles.

I have NO idea where I was. I wasn't paying that close attention, and it was 90,000+ miles ago.

 

90,000+ in 4 years? Not bad.
I've been eagerly awaiting the end of break-in and happened to look at the odometer as it hit 1250. Couldn't resist.

 

I wish i was more concise. I have no idea, had to be somewhere here in sc!

 

Yeah, I know that I knew exactly when I hit it, because I was anxiously awaiting the magic number, but I was probably paying more attention to the tach at the time than to exactly where I was.

 

Unfortunately I was sitting in rush hour traffic and couldn't have exceeded 4500 RPM without putting it in neutral.

 

I remember:
I was on the San Mateo Bridge (10 mile bridge crossing the SF bay) and i was still cruising when i came behind a grey evo. We were cruising together at 75 (i knew i couldn't take him and he knew it). Then came a mustang gt and magnum kinda racing that woke us up so we were all going around 85. Then a WRX and a lotus elise and we all raced across the bay at 100 to 110 max. I probably had the slowest car but at that speed doesn't really matter and that's about as fast as i wanted to go.
