How pricey is a clutch replacement on my 2003 mini? non-s.

$200 for parts, plus more if you need a new flywheel, and there are definitely more smaller parts like the throw-out bearing fork bushings, and some engine seals that should be done while you are in there.

It is not an easy job for a non-mechanic, but it can be done. ON-LINE INSTRUCTIONS CAN BE FOUND! Haynes and Bentley manuals have instructions.

If you post your location, I am sure someone can point you to a good place to have it done other than a MINI dealer.

 

thanks! i (her bf) have mechanical knowledge, just want to make sure there isnt anything tricky to these cars. And we are located about 30 minutes north of atlanta georgia. But dealerships are never cheap!
