Zagger Exploring!

My favorite, shows the basin and range nicely. Trouble is, your colors blend in too much (unlike Chili Red). I'm amazed your car looks so clean considering a little fresh snow. When it really snows, your car will stand out more (but might be filthy).
Look forward to more photos!
Very nice photos.
Somebody get a freak snowstorm?
Some quick tips...
Have the car "driving" into the picture rather than just about to exit the photo as seen in the second photo set you posted. Kurt's favorite photo is mine too as the car is positioned nicely, the mountain ridge line doesn't cross the car's body, and a beautiful vista point doesn't hurt anything either.
Also back off on the sharpening just a smidge. When you start getting jagged edges on the Mini's chrome beltline, you know you've gone to far with the sharpening.
Looking at Kurt's photo pick in photochomp with some quick edits shows me that there is a lot of color in your photo that is just waiting to be brought out, especially in the mountains and the sky. This is very subjective advice as it's your call how you want the photo to look; I personally like landscapes better with stronger colors. YMMV.
Thanks for sharing!

You can always tell a desert rat ~~~ speednut, a freak snowstorm in SLC would be 3 feet in one storm.
Good advice on driving into the frame. Speaking of color, sunsets really help.

Thanks for the advice! The snow is kinda funny, because today we drove the same road but further up....and we had the windows down and not a trace of snow!
I will post more pics, because any advice to help me get better is good advice. I am still learning the ins and outs of my Corel Paintshop Pro XI. There is just so much to learn, and I agree on the sharpening, a little too much!
