So I'm first in line at the intersection waiting to go, when I see a convertible mini go zooming by with top down, wha? it's like 50 degrees out and I'm complaining about it being cold. That just made me laugh...ahhh mini owners

 

If you don't have one yet, get the aftermarket windscreen. There's a thread in the convertible forum that tells all about it.

With the windscreen, a pair of jeans, and a sweatshirt, you can motor topless in some very cool temps (helps if the sun is out, too).

 

with heated seats it helps a lot too!

 

Our club had a run today. We were up in the Sierras, and it was 35 degrees for a while - snow on the ground and everything. We had two or three convertibles in the group, and they were top-down the whole time.

 

42F was about our limit with heated seats and windscreen up
