Getting pissed at Eastbay MINI

ok, so my windshield nozzles were leaking the fluid, my door sills did not have the "S" logo and I needed to install the factory alarm, so i called to make an appt at Eastbay Mini in Dublin. The day I brought my car in there to get everything done and pick up at the end of the day, i got a call from the service guy and they said my alarm was installed and they need to order my sills and need nozzle and everything will be done on monday, then i get a call monday and they said tuesday, so i was ok with that, now today they called and said the nozzles are something they cant fix but mini knows about it, and when the sills came in, one of them had a crease in it, so now i gotta go tomorrow to get my sills, then i called niello where i got my car and they said they'll order me a set and have it by fri, im just pissed that eastbay doesnt give out loaners and kept my car since last monday, i guess i cant complain that much since ill be getting a free set of the door sills with the "S". Anyone wanna buy that set from me?

I'm kinda surprised East Bay didn't tell you to take the car back to Niello for the sills in the first place, sounds like something that should have been caught at the pre-delivery inspection?

Its too bad they had to keep the car and there is no solution (or too much solution :P) for the nozzles yet, but the creased sill does sound pretty mcuh out of their control. It does suck about the no-loaners, it is a royal pain to work around.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with EB, I have only dealt with the service department once so far and was happy with the service.
Have you talked to Jim Burke, he is the SM and was very professional in my dealings with him.

yea hes the one who quoted me 210 for the alram install, and they tried to charge me 260, so i told the service guy that Jim quoted me a different price, so there going to change that. So, ill be picking up my mini which they had over a week for nothing today, they told me that they wanted to keep the car there, so that way they can have it logged in the computer to show that a technician is working on it.
