New use for Black Wow-window creaking

My windows (tinted) had started creaking on bumps. Sometimes sounded like rattles. I put a bit of black wow on it-no more creaking! It leaves a bit on the windows, so you can see a line of it when the window is partly down. I wiped it off, and it creaked again, so guess I have to live with it.

What do others do?

I do the same thing. Wipe it down with an old bottle of armorall I found laying around (I don't like the shine on the inside) and that stops the squeaks for a couple weeks.

Like you said, it leaves a little rim on the window. Have to choose, I guess.

Since I don't have my car I'm not 100% on what you're trying to do, but if its a rubber sealing surface.... try silicone spray lubricant, spray onto a rag and wipe onto your seals...

I used to do this on my Z28's windows and t-top seals and it seemed to keep them looking new and supple, maybe it'll stop your noise.
