Nice surprise, change in the function of sunroof

After picking my mini up from some warranty work, they said they had updated all the modules for the car. Now it has all the newest software updates.

I just noticed tonight while driving home, the sunroof switch actually works as one would expect it to. Still tilts full open with a quick full tap. But now, if i hold the switch to the first notch, it will tilt to open and stop and will NOT open any further until I push the switch the rest of the way. And the same closing, at the first notch, closes to full tilt and will not fully close until the switch is pressed all the way.

So simple, yet made my so happy today. It is now the way it should have been from get-go. Thanks Mini for making the corrections to that one

And no, it still doesn't have a one touch close but it's a good start none the less!

I noticed that too. When I got my iPod interface installed, I got the latest SW update. I wish it had auto open and close. That would make shifting and working the sun roof a lot easer
