Suffering... withdrawals... must... get MINI... back
Saturday morning ...I meticulously detailed my newly acquired silver 05 rag top. Then I went out on errands including filling the tank.
When I went to start her up ...all I got was *click* ...and a fluttering seatbelt light.
Long story short, my dealer who was closing shop just down the street sent a truck to take my crippled baby to the MINI hospital.
A whole day of driving my rusting 86 Toyota pick up and mulch hauler and I am already suffering withdrawals.
MUST ...GET ...MINI ...BACK ...OR ...WILL ... DIE of bordom!
They say its just a dead battery (in an 05!!??).
Anybody else have any experience with prematurly expired batteries? Is this (...gulp...) common among MINIs?

my uncles MINI had battery issues as well.. it was a 05 type s convertible. I dont blame the battery for his case though, he moved to china and the car was left undriven for a long time. Now that we got the battery replaced under warranty, im in charge of keeping it running... which entails driving it around everyonce in a while... what a hard job
