Power Washe Cap fell off

OK, it's kind of disappointed that the frist day I got my MINI happened a tragedy. The power wash cap disappeared on the way home from the dealer.
Does anyone happened this terrible situation? Called the dealer right after I found this problem, and they promise to order a new one for me.
but is it normal that it fell off the first day deliever?

Sorry this happened to you on the first day of delivery.
As for this being usual, you are the first I have seen to have this prolem and
most likley just a defective part. Hope the dealer has it replaced for you soon.

It was aweful and I was kind of frustrated a little bit.
The dealer just inform me they can replace for me like later today.
They took this cap from another car in show room after I argue with them for couple phone calls.
Hope everything will be fine later. I need to be cheer up...

If its anything like my '06 cabrio those bits are actually almost impossible to remove. Must've been installed wrong.

How do these washers work? Do they pop up that cap and spray back onto the headlight? If so how far does it pop out?

Washer cap has installed back to the right place. It really came from another car from the show room. You could say I am lucky that dealer willing to resposible for that matter, but where I am here this country, the cost of cooper in states can get a BMW M3 or something, this happend the first day I drove home and the within 10 miles distance is rediculous.

Power wash work exactly what you said, it pop out straight from inside the headlight about 2 inches and high pressure spary back to it. It only work first time when you try to wash your front windshield. Pretty cool tho......
